Veterans Aid is open for business

Veterans Aid is resilient, flexible and operational. We have complied scrupulously with all COVID-19 restrictions and taken no risks with the health of staff or clients.

No face-to-face services or admissions are available but, following appropriate restrictions, our residential facility, New Belvedere House, is operational; its dedicated staff continue to safeguard the health of residents while doing everything possible to promote their wellbeing. 

Veterans Aid is working differently

Veterans Aid is still dealing with urgent and complex cases. We have utilised all social media and online channels to reach out to veterans who might need our services.

Advice and support, in line with national limitations, will continue to be provided remotely via telephone during our working hours (Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Friday: 8:30am – 1:30pm) until the situation is resolved.

Veterans Aid is still connected

Veterans Aid’s extensive, established network and virtual operating model enables us to reach veterans in crisis when and wherever they are. We are doing our best to support them and provide service continuity.

However, like any organisation fighting to provide day to day services, we need your understanding and support. We still need to provide food and clothing, fund travel, pay bills and pay our service providers.

The ex-servicemen and women who need our help do so not because of COVID-19, but in spite of it. They must not be forgotten.
