Veterans Aid has an open-door policy that ensures it is accessible to every veteran who seeks its help. We can provide advice if you are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We also offer a range of services responsive to your situation.
First contact – Operations Centre
Veterans Aid’s approach is always needs-led. We receive expertise advice from barristers, addiction counsellors and mental health social workers. Our case workers will also call on specialist services when necessary.
Our Operational staff are either veterans themselves or they have experience working with the Armed Forces.
Further information
Veterans Aid exists to support former military personnel – not those currently serving in HM Armed Forces, or their dependents.
Those experiencing, or anticipating, Leave to Remain issues ahead of discharge are reminded that they should raise concerns through their Chain of Command and consult publicly available guidelines.
Veterans Aid is not funded to replicate any service that is freely available to serving personnel.
