Useful links & Information
VOLUNTEERS: Due to the specialist nature of its work, Veterans Aid is rarely able to take volunteers. All staff are trained and qualified in their respective disciplines and services not delivered in-house are outsourced to trusted partner organisations.
COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS: Veterans Aid receives many requests from photographers, painters, filmmakers, poets and writers interested in artistic projects that involve working with its clients. The charity’s default position is to decline. Those seeking VA’s help are vulnerable individuals to whom a duty of care is owed; its core business is their care and wellbeing.
RECRUITMENT: Veterans Aid has a low turnover of staff and does not use recruitment agencies.
