Woolly Hat Day – Wear a hat, make a donation and help to change someone’s life.
Woolly Hat Day is back on Friday 29 January 2016 for its sixth year – and it’s bigger and better than ever! So put on your hat and help homeless people.

Why Woolly Hat Day?
Whether you’re looking for a fun way to teach your kids about homelessness, or you want to liven up the office during those January blues, Woolly Hat Day is a simple and effective way to help homeless people.
How to get involved
Get your people to wear hats all day and ask them to donate, or get sponsored to wear your weirdest hat to work – it’s totally up to you. You’ll find tons of fundraising ideas on our Schools and Youth Groups and Workplace pages.
There are also loads of other ways to get involved. See the Celebrity Hat Auction – you could get your hands on a hat worn by your favourite celeb.
Don’t forget you can support homeless veterans by making a donation or buying one of Veterans Aid knitted caps!
