Sunshine and smiles were the order of the day at St Peter’s 2015 May Fair – an event that raised funds for both its own Disabled Ramp Appeal and Veterans Aid.
Stalls selling everything from clothing to cupcakes attracted the crowds. Visitors were tempted by fresh flowers, garden produce, Pimms and police horses as they packed into the beautiful Eaton Square church and its grounds. Normally held every two years this was the first May Fair since 2011 – and a first for new vicar, The Reverend Ralph Williamson – pictured below left with veterans Paul McEwan and David Chaplin.
Members of the charity took turns to man a small stall and mingle with visitors who asked about the 83-year-old charity’s work with ex-servicemen and women in crisis.

Hugh Milroy said, “Sadly I was unable to attend, but I know our team enjoyed the event immensely. We were all touched by St Peter’s generosity in making us a shared beneficiary of the May Fair.
