It’s that time of year when life, for some of us at VA, is taken over by preparation of the Annual Review. It’s hard work because there is no ‘set aside’ time in which to do it – but every year it serves to remind us just how much we have achieved. On April 19th the new one will join its predecessors on this website – a compendium of pictures, news items, reports, financial summaries and uplifting stories about people who have moved on to exciting new lives.
This year’s trio of success stories reminds us all yet again of what VA is all about. Not how people come to us – but how they leave!
The number of men and women serving in the Armed Forces is getting smaller, but the Veterans community is still around 4.5 million. Veterans are as diverse as the population they are drawn from and VA has been dealing with their problems and turning their lives around for more than 80 years.
Annual Reviews – from 2006 to 2012.
