On Tuesday 7th July, VA’s Chief Executive Dr Hugh Milroy, and his wife, Lorraine, attended the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
While the day itself will be memorable for the torrential rain that interrupted the event, it was also a very memorable day for VA . Hugh and his wife were lucky enough to be presented to Her Majesty.
Hugh said, ”This was a real honour for everyone involved with the charity. We chatted for about 5 minutes and Her Majesty was extremely interested in the work of VA”.
